At Apiprotec, we’ve designed two versions of our breathable suit to meet very different needs, without compromising on safety or comfort.

🌬️ Beebreathe – 5 mm ventilation, ideal for beekeeping

• Made from 5mm-thick 3D technical fabric, Beebreathe ensures excellent air circulation while providing effective protection against bee stings.

• Lightweight, supple and comfortable to wear, it’s perfect for both amateur and professional beekeepers, especially in hot weather.

• However, this thickness is not sufficient to guarantee protection against the more dangerous Asian hornets.

• This version is currently undergoing IFTH certification for beekeeping to guarantee protection in compliance with the most stringent safety requirements, and will not be released for sale until it has been certified.

• EPI2 certification pending for beekeeping by IFTH (Institut Français du Textile et de l’Habillement)

• Aerated 3D triple-layer fabric: a technical mesh that keeps bees away from the skin

• Rigid panoramic sail with hoops: wider field of vision + excellent fit

• 4 large pockets + 1 frame-lifting pocket : optimum functionality in the apiary

• Integrated cordura knee reinforcements for ground handling

• Double-slider zipper with protective collar flap

• Elasticated cuffs & ankles + foot loops: perfect fit and flawless support

🛡️ Hornetbreathe – 10 mm thick to face hornets safely

• Developed from the same 3D fabric, but doubled in thickness to 10 mm, the Hornetbreathe is specially designed to cope with the dangers of hornets and Asian hornets.

• This version is currently undergoing IFTH certification for wasps / hornets and Asian hornets, to guarantee protection in line with the most stringent safety requirements. It will only be released for sale after certification.

• It offers an excellent compromise between breathability and extreme resistance.

• 10 mm reinforced 3D fabric: excellent air circulation with maximum protection against long, deep punctures

• EPI certification in progress: a guarantee of safety for professional hornet nest destroyers

• New rigid panoramic sail with hoops: clear field of vision with good hold

• Cordura® knee and forearm reinforcements: to withstand rough handling

• Two-way zip with protective flap: maximum safety at the collar and torso

• Elasticated tightening at wrists, ankles + foot loops: optimum fit even in emergency conditions
