The beekeeper's suit in 100% organic cotton
Apiprotec manufacturer of beekeeping textiles
Why buy an organic cotton beekeeper's suit?
Cotton growing is considered one of the world’s most polluting crops. According to the WHO, it drains more than 10% of all pesticides used. It is also a major consumer of water, and a powerful emitter of carbon dioxide. 2.5% of the world’s cotton acreage uses more than 25% of the pesticides sold on our planet. This makes cotton the most polluting crop on earth. Cotton is the world’s leading textile fiber. It takes 2,500 liters of water to manufacture a conventional cotton men’s T-shirt. 4% of the world’s drinking water is used to produce our clothes.
The benefits of an organic cotton beekeeper's suit
From seed to flower, organic cotton is grown without fertilizers, pesticides or insecticides. Producers use natural fertilizers and insecticides that do not harm human health. An organic cotton T-shirt consumes just 100 liters of water.
For the consumer, organic cotton is softer and less allergenic. The main benefit is to avoid all potentially toxic products in direct contact with the skin.
WHY DOES MY BEEKEEPING SUIT HAVE TO LAST?

Our products are manufactured under strict quality control, with regular checks on seams, hook-and-loop fasteners and protective fleece. Our products are certified in the PPE 2 range.
OUR JOB IS TO PROTECT YOU.
Our products are built to last. Buying an APIPROTEC protective garment is the assurance of keeping your beekeeping outfit in perfect condition for many years to come. Our protective garments will keep you safe in the apiary for years to come. If you buy a “cheap” beekeeper’s suit , wear and tear will be much faster, safety degraded, and the garment will need to be changed frequently. Never neglect your safety. By changing our beekeeping outfits less often, we help to reduce the harmful effects of excessive consumption of our resources.
