Our beekeeper's clothing in organic fabric

Why buy an organic cotton beekeeping suit?
Cotton growing is considered one of the world’s most polluting crops. According to the WHO, it drains more than 10% of all pesticides used.
It is also a major consumer of water, and a powerful emitter of carbon dioxide. 2.5% of the world’s cotton acreage uses more than 25% of the pesticides sold on our planet. This makes cotton the most polluting crop on earth. Cotton is the world’s leading textile fiber. It takes 2,500 liters of water to manufacture a conventional cotton men’s T-shirt. 4% of the world’s drinking water is used to produce our clothes.

The benefits of an organic cotton beekeeper's suit
From seed to flower, organic cotton is grown without fertilizers, pesticides or insecticides. Producers use natural fertilizers and insecticides that do not harm human health. An organic cotton T-shirt consumes just 100 liters of water.
For the consumer, organic cotton is softer and less allergenic. The main benefit is to avoid all potentially toxic products in direct contact with the skin.
The untreated nature of the fabric means it’s more supple, and gives an impression of lightness that makes our organic coverall very pleasant to wear, and just as safe as our classic fabric range. Like all our other coveralls, jackets and vests, our organic coverall is EPI 2 certified.
