At the ISA apiaries. Testing the AIRPRO beekeeping suit
This video shows our young beekeepers at the Isa apiaries ( Our test apiaries ) wearing our AIRPRO ventilated beekeeping suit and our classic beekeeping suit. The test is more than satisfactory. The 3D honeycomb fabric fulfilled its function perfectly. As you can see from the picture, its memory texture and volume keep the beekeeper’s body away from the suit, so there’s little direct contact with the skin. The AIRPRO beekeeping suit provides effective protection for the beekeeper, while being extremely comfortable and perfectly ventilated.

Lightweight compared to products currently on the market. No “armor” effect that’s heavy to wear and generates extra effort. Only the major perspiration zones are ventilated. 3D fabric is hypoallergenic, bacteria-free and perspiration-resistant.
How to assemble the AIRPRO beekeeping suit :
The base of the beekeeper’s suit remains in 300gr cotton twill as on classic models. The ventilated parts of the suit are made of 3d textile (staggered meshes prevent the passage of the bee’s stinger), 7mm thick, covered by a breathable CORDURA mesh, ultra-resistant to tearing and abrasion.

Beekeepers’ coveralls in 3D Textile honeycomb feature top-of-the-range technology designed for the beekeeper’s comfort and safety. The beekeeper’s safety is guaranteed by the quality of the materials used. The 7mm-thick honeycomb texture (figure 1 and 2), made up of hundreds of crossed polyester threads (figure 1 drawing), provides an effective shield, while the 2mm-thick cordura mesh (figure 3) protects against abrasion and tearing.
