Why buy an organic cotton beekeeper’s suit?
In high temperatures, the APIPROTEC organic cotton suit is a must!
The organic cotton used to manufacture our protective clothing has not undergone any phytosanitary treatment. What’s more, it’s not bleached, so it retains all its soft, supple properties. The naturally ventilated mesh is silky to the touch and very comfortable to wear. We recommend a rather large size so that the garment is not worn too close to the body to generate internal ventilation (Bedouin style). We also recommend wearing a linen or cotton t-shirt under the large-size suit. Our wetsuits are made of abrasion- and tear-resistant twill.
Our beekeeping suits comply with the essential health and safety requirements of European Directive 89/686/EEC.

One-size-fits-all sailcloth for all garments (overalls, jackets, varsity jackets, and all sizes from XS to 3XL).

High-performance cotton twill in 300 grams. Twill weave is a tensile and wear-resistant weave.
– Highly resistant to wear, abrasion and tearing. Ideal for heavy-duty use.
– The cotton twill is comfortable and well-ventilated, perfect for optimum summer use.
– The rigidity of the lined cotton twill (600gr) ensures effective support, good visibility and perfect protection for the face and head. The loose-fitting design ensures good internal ventilation and prevents the suit from sticking to the skin.
– The rigidity of the entire veil ensures maximum comfort and protection for the face. An internal visual check verifies closure of the veil (see product photo slideshow).

Fabric – Tensile strength to ENISO 13934-1 = minimum 800 N

Mesh – Burst strength to ENISO 13938-1 = minimum 800 N
Weight per unit area of fabric to EN 12127 minimum 240g/m².
Mesh thickness to EN ISO 5084 > 2.5 mm
Tensile strength of main seams to ENISO 13935-2 > 200 N

je souhaite remercier l’équipe qui est très réactive. J’ai commandé une combinaison pour l’offrir à noël et 2 jours après livré avec le logo de brodé dessus. Le modèle n’étant plus en stock Apiprotec m’a livré la combinaison de gamme supérieur BIO. Sans frais supplémentaires, je vous en remercie encore. La combinaison est de qualité, très bon produit, bonne finition. Et en plus, c’est de fabrication FRANCAISE! Il ne reste plus qu’à l’utiliser.

Bonjour, je suis amoureux de ma nouvelle combinaison avec la broderie qui est au top!! La taille tombe juste bien et les finition sont bonne. Lors de ma commande J ai également eu un “up grade vers la combi bio” vu que celle commandée était indisponible. Ce geste est juste super sympa.
